I put together my lunch last night, and thought I would have time to put together something for breakfast this morning – turns out I don’t like to get up after sleeping in two days in a row!
I have Panera’s number on my phone, so I called when I left my driveway so it would be ready by the time I got there. I walk in, say I have a pick up for Biz, and they have no record of it.
- Cashier: “Do you know who you talked to?”
- Me: “No.:
- Cashier: “Are you sure you called the right store?”
- Me: I show her my phone: “Isn’t this your number?”
- Cashier: “Yes.”
- Manager: “Sorry, I’ll get that going for you.”
All I wanted was the egg sammie and a large fruit cup. It took them nearly 15 minutes to put that together! The woman hands me my bag, no fruit cup – I ask for it and she says “we didn’t have any made, so they are cutting it up right now.”
Really, its 8:20 on a Monday morning and you don’t have any made up?? Note to self: make your breakfast the night before!
For lunch last night I marinated 5 shrimp in 1 tablespoon teriyaki sauce and minced garlic and just cooked it at work – I used my julienne shredder to shred one small zucchini and mixed that with 1 serving of the Honest blend of grains.
With a spinach salad on the side with Annie’s Asian dressing – and 1 TJ’s flax plank with a shmere of goat cheese.
Good News – I won BSI Corn! Thanks again for picking my recipe Sophia – the Southwestern Egg Rolls are a keeper in my house!
We ended up doing Level 1 of 30 day shred – it was so hard! My blood sugar was falling so I only did the 20 minutes – I’ll have to take the dog on a 30 minute walk tonight.
Okay, afternoon break is over – come back tonight for Blackened Steak Salad! (don’t worry Tony – the blackened part is just for me!) 😀
