Turned out to be pasta sauce! As soon as I started thawing it in the microwave, and I started smelling it, I realized my mistake. Oh well, I did have a back up!
Since I didn’t eat my potato and chili yesterday, I heated that up and had it with my baby spinach salad I brought to go with my “soup!”
- 7 ounce plain baked potato
- 1/2 cup canned chili
- 1/8 cup shredded Mexican cheese
- 1.5 cups baby spinach
- 1 cup raddichio (I never know how to spell that)
- 1 medium carrot chopped
- and the last of my balsamic vingar my mom got me from her trip to Italy. SO GOOD!
I am going to spend the rest of my lunch break catching up on all your blogs! I hate it when work gets in the way of doing that!
Come back tonight for Marinated Ahi Tuna, Forbidden Rice and Parmesan Zucchini!
Oh my gosh, one time I went to my boyfriend’s mom’s house and found something I thought was eating some left over sloppy joes, and it turned out I was eating her meat sauce they were going to use for dinner. How embarrassing!
Good thing you had a back up!
That looks delish and I made turkey chili tonight and have leftovers, I think I’ll freeze some to make this next week. Thanks!
The flower is gorgeous and your dinner looks very yummy, I love the fries!!
Mmm, you know how to eat! Beautiful orchid, by the way.
I just saw your breakfast sandwich which made me jealous and now I’m jealous of your lunch!! So yummy 🙂
hahaha thats awesome. I did something like this before 🙂 Made me start labeling my baggies/containers in the freezer 😉 Looks like lunch turned out awesome anyways!
Oh, that looks great!
Have a super night!

My work always gets in the way of blog reading too! And posting! So not fun. 😛
oooo i cant wait until your dinner post!!!
Mmm.. we’re having baked potatoes with beans tomorrow for dinner! Looks great with the chili and the cheese 😀
Haha, I love catching on blog reads! And tasty eats.
That so sounds like something I would do! One day for lunch I thought I had grabbed the container with a spinach salad inside topped with pieces of grilled chicken. When it came time for lunch I realized I had grabbed the container with the rest of the grilled chicken in it and left my salad at home! Luckily for me, my boyfriend was at home and we live closeby so he came and brought me my salad. I felt like an idiot though!
Sorry that your soup turned out to be sauce…I have the same problem in my freezer! I really should get a Sharpie and start writing on my containers.
“and then I ate the bowl!”
