One of the women in office services is leaving the firm so a couple co-workers and I took her out to lunch at The Dearborn. We split the fresh bread and cheese plate for an appetizer- I had one little roll and a piece of cheese and apple.
Now the Dearborn is known for their burgers. In fact it’s one of my top 5 burgers in Chicago that I’ve tried. But I have FIVE other events this week and have to pace myself, so I got the shrimp and grits. Oh my, next time I make grits at home I’m adding fresh corn.
Um, can you tell that there is a tiny bit of butter? 🤣 I ate all the shrimp but can we get a holla for me leaving behind all those grits?!
The other three women all got the burger based on my recommendation – not going to lie I had a bit of burger envy, but it’s not like I won’t ever have it again, just not yesterday.
I’ve been having a Jones for a Taco Bell crunch wrap – except I didn’t have any tostadas, so I made one from a corn tortilla – just air fried it for 4 minutes on 400.
Crunch Wrap
Crunchy, tasty, easy crunch wraps that are healthier than Taco Bell and just as delicious!
Ingredients
- 1 large tumaro tortilla
- 1 tostada
- 1/3 cup chicken breast, cooked
- 1/4 cup fat free refried beans
- 1 tbsp alouette cheese
Instructions
- Heat air fryer to 400.
- Place Tumaro wrap on cutting board. Spread with refried beans and chicken and cheddar cheese.
- Spread one side of the tostada with the Alouette cheese, but that side down on the chicken mixture.
- Wrap the bigger wrap around the tostada, spray with avocado spray, place seam side down, spray the top with spray and bake 6 minutes on one side, flip and cook 2 minutes longer.
- Serve with Greek yogurt mixed with salsa for dipping, and chopped cilantro for garnish

This was so good! Chewy, crunchy, spicy – this definitely cured my jones for Taco Bell!

Still haven’t got an air fryer, guess I’ll have to put it on the top of Santa’s list this year, that wrap is just so amazing! I’ve been pretty busy this last month with all sorts of family to do’s but I just realized this morning that I haven’t been getting your emails every morning anymore. I probably missed it, but am I not supposed to be getting those anymore? I really loved reading your posts every morning, almost as much as morning coffee! lol Of course I can just come to your site, but I really am a very lazy person!
