Do you ever Google yourself?  I do every once in a while.  Sometimes I’ll do a Google image search of my name and see what comes up.  This morning I found this:

That was from a post from last August.  I was already into the second month of Insanity.  The caption under that picture said “I drank Gatorade, not wine.”  I was so focused last summer I have no idea where my mojo went, but I am happy to say that after two weeks of doing my strength training with Bite Size Fitness, that mojo is coming back.  I just need to drink more Gatorade and less wine!

The other night when we grilled pork chips and potatoes, I cooked several more potatoes just to have on hand.   I ended up making a potato hash with one egg, two small potatoes, baby spinach with fresh fruit on the side.

Yesterday was arms for strength.  More new to me exercises – love it!  I definitely had to look up the Zottman curl – I actually really liked that one!

The part in blue?  That’s the abs workout that has to be done 2x a week. I am working up to the decline plate raise – not there yet!  But I am rocking my sriracha shirt!

Then I ran 1.5 miles at 6.0 mph without stopping.  Running for me is so mental.  I decided to just not look down and watch t.v. and I was able to control my breathing. #winning

I put the video of me running on Instagram (why are you not following me there?  mybizzykitchen) and I said “not bad for someone who weighs 167 pounds!  I have to thank Meghan of Clean Eats Fast Feets for her nice compliment – thank you Meghan!

I have Rachel’s husband Dave to blame for my recent obsession with pork.  I am thrilled that Tony enjoys skinny pork chops again, but what I truly enjoy is a giant pork roast.  Pulled pork sandwiches, but I think the king of pork is the Porchetta (pronounced pork-etta).  It’s typically a lean pork roast wrapped around pork belly, then tied together and slow roasted so that the outside gets all crispy and crunchy, but then you slice it thin and put it on a sandwich.  Dave went to a food truck in North Carolina this past week, and I haven’t been able to shake the thought of a porchetta sandwich!

But their sandwich that I will have dreams about trying to recreate?  Does this sandwich scream me or what??! So thanks Dave!

I love how I started out this post about getting my exercise mojo back, and then talking about pork sandwiches – ha!  But there is more pork to talk about.  I cooked the rest of the pork chops that were in the package.  I chopped up about 3-4 ounces of the pork meat, tossed it in some Copycat Rudy’s BBQ, and then put a slice of American cheese on it and popped it into the toaster oven broiler.   Holy smokes was this good!

Friday afternoons at work are the worst – they seem to drag on forever.  I was so happy when it was quitting time!  As I was driving home, I got a text message from an old boss I used to work with.  She and I love spicy shit.  I was at a stoplight when she sent me this picture:

I love how she said she could live off of them except for the lack of nutrition part.  It just so happened that I was near a post office that I had to send a certified letter for work, and next door was a grocery store.  Within minutes I sent her this picture.

All Tony could say was thank God they were spicy because he wouldn’t be tempted to eat them.  Give him Trader Joe’s sesame pretzels and that’s another story.  This are spicy good – and I was proud that I only ate 3 on the way home!

My twin sister and I love cloud pictures – in our book you can’t have too many!  So on my drive home I kept sending her pictures of clouds!

But this was the best one – no filter either!  That’s along a two mile stretch on the way to our house – its mostly farmland.

Tony and I hung outside for a while before he started getting hungry for dinner.  I bought gyros meat at our grocery store with tzatziki sauce.  I had plans to make pita bread in 20 minutes, but when I mentioned that idea to Tony he was like “eh.”  So when I stopped by the store to pick up the salsa chips, I bought a bag of pita bread – I still plan on trying my 20 minute version though! So dinner was ready in just a matter of minutes.

I love their tzatziki sauce – even if you don’t buy any gyros meat, you can buy one of those containers for just .49.  So good!

I didn’t quite get all my steps in yesterday.  I plan on going on a walk this morning and I am working the bar tonight – I hope its busy!

I hope you have a great weekend!  I have a post about my step-sons cooking geared up for Monday – I hope you will come back and check it out!  Make it a great day and I’ll see you Monday!
