This is going to be a quick post because the storms are getting closer and I need to shut off the computer soon!

So for lunch it was more “what can I make out of my fridge!” I used two flour tortillas, 1/4 cup refried beans, baby spinach and an ounce of colby cheese to make a quesadilla, drizzled with my baja fresh salsa.

And then I found a package of my zero point Mexican soup! I added 2 ounces of chicken to it, so it became a 2 point soup!

I did Level 3 of 30 day shred before work yesterday. At lunch, I tried another bike ride – this time it was a steady hill climb – my only goal was to beat the pacer bike and I beat him by two minutes! It was 7 miles and I did it in 30:25. Then I did 3×25 abs with a medicine ball.
Tony picked me up for our date since the theater is closer to my office. We started out at Pinstripes for a drink. They had Goose Island 312 on special for $3!

Then we made our way to the theater. Tuesday night is “members” night. Select beer and wines for $3. and they have a reduced price menu.
I started out with the Caesar salad, then had two organic beef sliders.
So obviously dinner with drink came in high (797 calories, 49 carbs, 28 protein, 35 fat and 4.6 fiber) , but I didn’t do too bad overall! The movie was wonderful, and we lucked out – no kids in the theater! 😀 Thanks for a great date night Tony!
Stats for Tuesday:
- 25 minute level 3 – 30 day shred
- 7 mile 30:25 bike ride
- 5 minute abs
- 1,814 calories, 164 carbs, 84 protein, 75 fat and 22 fiber
Cheerleaders needed! If you have time in the next couple days, please stop by two blogs for a couple people who are struggling at the moment.
First off is 101 Days of Summer Participant Al (Losing Harry). He had a business trip that sidetracked him and he’s trying to get back on track after losing 11.8 pounds the first week of the challenge! He had a goal to reach by July 4th, so if you could stop by and cheer him on, I would appreciate it!
Next up is my brother Charlie of Back to the Fridge. He’s trying to turn the “switch” to the on position, which means he watches what he eats and exercises. He’s almost back to where he started. He’s a wonderful writer and very funny! It’s been a while since I mentioned it, but he wrote a book “Why Your Last Diet Failed You and How This Book Won’t Help You on Your Next One.”
My friend Helen almost peed her pants at my brother’s description of walking the Chicago marathon! Speaking of Helen, she gave me one of her books she didn’t want anymore – its called “The Spark” and is written by the founder of Spark people. Thanks Helen!
How about a giveaway? Please leave a comment on Al or Charlie’s latest blog post for a chance to win my brothers book. I’ll throw everyone’s name in a hat and pick a winner tomorrow morning. Let’s be great cheerleaders today!
Off to do a 30 minute AM yoga – make it a great day!
That food looks ridiculous! I can’t believe that’s just a normal lunch for you! haha..it’d take all day for me to come up with that 😛
I went over to Charlies site left a long comment:) How goes the weight this week? I couldn’t help but notice the fat grams and calorie count were high on todays post said with concern and care:) don’t take it the wrong way please.
I have done the dvd 2x so far this week how did we decide to do it 3x? What were we thinking? I’m still sore from Tuesday Shred so I might have to wait and do it on Friday. I am down 2-3 pounds depending on the day:)
It was a night out, so I am not worried about it – but thanks! 😀 After my post this morning I am doing level 3 again for the 2nd time this week. I don’t know what we were thinking, but we can do it! 😀
