My brother Charlie’s post yesterday on his blog had me at corned beef hash and Tabasco!   So out to breakfast we went!

First off, you gotta love a restaurant that has this on every table.

Nice!

Today I got the spinach and feta cheese egg white omelet with hash browns.  Um, Tony and I may have split a small order of corned beef hash!

This is one thing I don't make well at home - I can never get the crispy crust before burning it!

I asked them to lighten up on the spinach this time - the last one I got had so much spinach in it you couldn't even see the egg whites!

So I was reading the grocery store sale papers and the grocery store by the restaurant had both plum and whole tomatoes for .59 cents a pound!   So today I am making my grilled salsa.  Back when I started this blog I didn’t realize the difference between a page and a post, so I accidentally put my salsa making as a page . . . click on My Garden Overflows to see how this magic is created!   Hannah and I love this salsa and have been out for months!   It’s nearly 50 degrees today so today is the perfect day to fire up the grill!

My $20 grocery challenge was a success!

The last thing I bought was mozzarella cheese for our pizzas last night, so I actually came in with .73 cents to spare!

Okay, off to light the grill – see you later with salsa pics!
