Bacon Avocado Laughing Cow Cheese Burger Sliders! = YUM!!!
So Hannah and I decided we would have sliders, but she had onions, I did not! The first thing I did was make the guacamole – I saw this mix next to the guacamole for $1 and decided to give it a try:
![p2240004-640x480 it added a bit of a kick to the avocados!](http://biz319.files.wordpress.com/2009/02/p2240004-640x480.jpg)
![p2240007-640x480 one thing to remember about avocados is that they brown really quickly! If you put the plastic wrap right to the guacamole, it will stay green](http://biz319.files.wordpress.com/2009/02/p2240007-640x480.jpg)
I gave Tony a bite of it and he’s like “what is spicy in this!” Since it was a mix, I had no idea, and then looked and saw that jalapeno pepper was 5th on the ingredient list! So I went light on his burger!
I don’t know if your grocery store has a meat clearance section, but whenever I go to the market I check it out. I ended up getting this for .99 cents!
![p2240010-640x480 Here are our sliders - 1.5 ounce raw patties = 1 ounce cooked](http://biz319.files.wordpress.com/2009/02/p2240010-640x480.jpg)
![p2240012-640x480 I used one triangle of light laughing cow cheese to my sliders](http://biz319.files.wordpress.com/2009/02/p2240012-640x480.jpg)
![p2240019-640x480 one slider up close - the guacamole made it!!](http://biz319.files.wordpress.com/2009/02/p2240019-640x480.jpg)
So my plate:
- 1 wedge light laughing cow cheese
- 3 ounces cooked ground beef
- 3 refrigerator biscuits (50 cal each)
- 2 tablespoons guacamole
- 1 slice cooked bacon
- 2 ounces oven fries
![p2240018-640x480 With a drizzle of jalapeno ketchup! Dinner comes in at 525 caloires, 21 fat, 33 proten, 48 carbs and 3.2 fiber](http://biz319.files.wordpress.com/2009/02/p2240018-640x480.jpg)
So I have DVR’s Biggest Loser, I’ll watch that later, and may decide to watch tonight and tomorrow nights episodes back to back. Off to watch Chopped on FoodTV. Yes, apparently every aspect of my life revolves around food! Hope everyone had a good night – see you tomorrow!
those look YUMMY. Have you ever put the laughing cow inside the burger….OMG…they are so good
That is a wicked dinner. Guacamole & bacon make a great flavour combination. One of our sandwich places used to make a turkey/bacon/guacamole sandwich that I loved.
One question – does slider just mean a small burger?
Those look great!
