Despite drinking too much wine and only exercising 3 days last week, I think with the help of drinking TONS more water, I am 164.9 today, so I am down 2.5 for the week! Not too shabby!
My local grocery store doesn’t sell Greek yogurt, so I had to settle for this:
I added an ounce of Pom seeds – these are really growing on me!
Then I added 1/2 cup of our homemade granola.
This was really good, but I think I would have preferred the Greek yogurt. The pom seeds and granola are so sweet that a tangy yogurt would have worked well together. We’ll see how well this holds me!
I haven’t grocery shopped so I am picking up Panera for lunch today for me and Tony – what are your favorites at Panera? Mine, hands down, is the broccoli cheese soup and bagette! See you later!
Love the soup. Been a little under the weather and that sounds perfect. I just read up on ways to boost your immune system and broccoli and carrots were the top veggies. I have both and should just make up a batch to help get me back on track and stay on track. Thanks for sharing =)
That’s a beautiful bowl!
Panera has really good soups and salads, but I don’t really like their bread – funny as it might sound, since they are a bread co. and all! The bread always tastes oddly sweet to me, and kind of gummy- it just makes whichever sandwich I order taste gross and I end up just picking out the insides of the sandwich and leaving the bread.
I’ve never been to panera! But hope you have a great time there! Can’t wait to see what you get!
And yum on the yogurt combo!
I love love love the black bean soup from Panera – I spent most of yesteray at Panera doing homework, one of my favorite places. Hazelnut coffee is AWESOME!
Congratulations on your loss – good job!!
I’ve never been -I’ll have to check it out!
I love Panera – unfortunately we don’t have one here, so I only get to eat there when we visit our sons at college. I love their “in season” salads – usually a combination of fruits and nuts with lovely lettuce…so good! Of course, you can’t go wrong with the 1/2 sandwich (any kind) and French Onion soup.
Grats on the loss!!!
I’ve never been to Panera. I’ll have to check it out!
me too, glad you are liking the pom seeds! 😀
and congrats on the loss this week!!
the last time i went to panera (for the blogger meetup) i got a bagel, i haven’t really ordered anything from there in a long time!
I’m glad to read you are liking the poms!!
I’ve only been to Panera a few times but I remember this KILLER salad–I think it was called Fuji Apple? It was delicious!!
I haven’t been to Panera in a few years but they used to have this amazing veggie sandwich, yum!
Congrats on the loss!
My grocery store stopped selling greek yogurt too. 🙁
Panera is my FAVORITE place to eat. I alwasy get their pick and pari. Try their Mediterrean Sandwhich with Their French onion soup sand the Croutons and Cheese. yuM!
Congrats on the loss! I need to remember to drink more water, I always have a hard time with that in the winter!
Ooh, Panera is so good! I love all of their soups and most of their salads. They are so good!
Gorgeous parfait and congrats on the weigh in!!
As you know, Panera is probably my favorite “restaurant” out there. Favs include: Garden veg. soup, black bean soup, multi-grain baguette, or Mediterranean veggie sandwich 🙂
i’ve have never been to panera so i can’t wait to see what you pick!
YUM – I want to try that granola recipe. I’ve been not a big fan of yogurt lately so perhaps I need to try the greek style everyone’s been raving about!
Your homemade granola looks clusterific. Pomegranate seeds are gorgeous.
