So the beef stew turned out well, but I should have added the vegetables at the beginning, not the last 45 minutes because some of the potatoes and carrots weren’t fully cooked. I got the recipe on www.recipezaar.com Recipe # 36984.
![dscn2591-640x480 I cut up the beef in bite sized chunks . . . love all the canned goods in the background!](http://bethandjenn.com/www.mybizzykitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/dscn2591-640x480.jpg)
Then I put then in a ziploc bag that had the flour, pepper and seasoned salt.
The original recipe called for 1/4 cup of olive oil to brown the meat, I only used 3 teaspoons.

Hannah’s beef stew looked like this:
![dscn2603-640x480 um, pretty sure there is no meat in there!](http://bethandjenn.com/www.mybizzykitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/dscn2603-640x480.jpg)
My dinner:
Okay, who keeps messing with my menu??
![dscn2611-640x480 I blame Tony for this one](http://bethandjenn.com/www.mybizzykitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/dscn2611-640x480.jpg)
But Hannah saved it:
But Tony strikes again!
I can see this chalkboard menu shenanigan’s will continue all week!
Hope everyone had a good weekend! See you tomorrow!
That chalkboard is HILARIOUS. And thanks so much for this – I have been craving beef stew for weeks, and this looks great.
Nice looking beef stew!
Do you guys not like peas – I always put peas in my stew! It looks “empty” without them. 🙂
The menu war is too funny!
Hahah! That is one awesome chalkboard! LOL! STEAK!!!
