What’s up with that?! Well, Hannah and I don’t like meatloaf, so we had plan B. Luckily I had leftover pizza dough, so that was a quick decision for us!
The dough gets a special chewy/crispy texture when it sits in the fridge for any length of time. It was so good!
Simple – a few slices of pepperoni, sliced banana peppers from my mom’s garden, and mine was a 4 ounce pizza dough.
Here is mine out of the oven!

I have my secret ingredient recipe all set – I’ll be making it tomorrow night. It sounds amazing in my head, so we’ll see!

I didn’t know you didn’t like meatloaf, B! That looks like a great way to make it. I’ll have to give that a try when I start cooking again in a few years.
John, all it is is ground beef, Jimmy Dean sausage, A-1 steak sauce, 1 egg, 1/4 cup bread crumbs and salt and pepper to taste.
I bake it on a rack so it doesn’t cook in the fat, and the outside gets all crispy!
Mmm, that looks good! Also, I’ve never seen meatloaf done on a rack like that, it must have more binding in it than my meatloafs.
