By the time I got to the trail this morning with Ed, it was 28 degrees! Winter coat? Check. Hat? Check. Gloves? Check!
It was beautiful though – we went on a new path and he could not have been happier. We walked for 40 minutes!
![monday-1026-013 I didn't see this at the other trail! Free Mutt Mitts!](http://bethandjenn.com/www.mybizzykitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/monday-1026-013.jpg?w=300)
![monday-1026-020 there was frost on the ground around this bend!](http://bethandjenn.com/www.mybizzykitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/monday-1026-020.jpg?w=300)
I was hungry by the time we got back. I made my mock McDonald’s sausage McMuffin – with Tabasco!
So last night I made two batches of biscotti – both were a disaster. They are heavy, dense and not good at all. I kept going through my head, what did I do wrong? Did I miss an ingredient? I FORGOT THE BAKING POWDER!
I will try again though. The second biscotti I made was actually a tofu trail mix that looked pretty good going in the oven:
Planning on doing the treadmill walk/run/sprint today. See you at lunch!
Sorry Tony – I am going to try again! I was so bummed when they came of the oven hard as rocks!
You left out the baking powder? Is this an unconscious way of telling Tony, look Bub I am adding more stuff to my biscotti and there is nothing you can do about it.
Jeez, when I travel you get nasty!
I love that McMuffin 🙂 I bought english muffins this week!
Super-cold here too!! 30°F!!
Definitely make the biscotti again!! 🙂
Thanks for the crisp pics. Great walk!!
