Sushi (except not raw)!

The range of calories in sushi or Jananese food in general is all over the map.  Whenever I used to look calories up, I of course took the lowest calorie item!  Tonight, I think I guessed on the high side, but still came in around 1400 calories for the day.  And Joe came and met us for dinner – thanks Joe! My daughter and I...

Chili and scalloped potatoes

are two things I can never cook.  You would think I would have given up by now, but no, I keep trying!  The only time the scalloped potatoes worked out was when my mom was over, instructing me step by step.  I’ve tried making it the same way without her, and its just not the same. thank you!

To www.hangrypants.com for the picnic wrap recipe!  So light!  I ended up getting 10 tortillas out of this recipe: 2 cups whole wheat bread flour 3 tablespoons vegetable oil 1/2 cup water 1/2 teaspoon salt (which I forgot to add!) In a medium-sized bowl, mix together the flour and oil.  Gradually mix in the water (and salt!).  Knead briefly.  Divide the dough into 10 pieces...
