I hit the ground running when I got to work so didn’t eat my breakfast until around 10:00. An open faced egg white sammie in a high fiber muffin (I forgot my cheese at home!) with fruit drizzled with two teaspoons of reduced fat Jif peanut butter. Breakfast was 5 points.
Charlie, have you seen the Tabasco sriracha?? So good!
I have to give a shout out to my friend Kim (you can check out her YouTube channel here). (I’m blogging from my phone, but I’ll add the link shortly!).
She just hit -125 pounds! She is so inspiring, has such a positive attitude and shares the highs and lows of her weight loss journey.
Check out how happy she looks! It’s taken her three years to lose the weight as part of the #turtleclub, but she never gave up! If she has a higher point meal, or a tiny binge, she jumped right back in the game.
How many of us have over indulged and thought “fuck it” and kept eating like crap for days, weeks or months?!
My leftover lunch is my next blog post on the Chopping Block next week – it’s a super flavorful beef and spring veggie lo mein. I’ll link to it when it’s up, but this plate is 9 points.
I was able to catch the 6 pm train so I was home just after 7 – nice! I was making beef and bean tacos for dinner. At my last Weight Watchers meeting they had these one point sauces so I thought I would try them out.
I decided to put the jalapeño queso on my tacos. You just heat for 10 seconds in the microwave, let it sit for a minute and then pour onto the tacos.
Um, it tasted like ass. No, I take that back, it tasted like nothing. I only used half the packet and threw the rest out. Note to self: eat real cheese 🧀
These tacos came in at 10 points. I used coconut oil to cook the tacos so they were extra crispy.
It’s going to be another busy day today, but at least it will go by fast. Is it weird that I am already thinking about dinner?
I’m making How Sweet Eats tomato soup with grilled cheese. I told Hannah what I was going to make and she said “I’ll just have the grilled cheese.”
Happy Thursday friends – make it a great day!
Thank you so much Biz! I still cannot believe it!
I love Kim too , she has such an amazing and upbeat attitude. I was hoping the WW sauces were going to be a success. Hopefully they will go back to the drawing board after hearing the feedback. My only question, doesn’t someone taste the product before it rolls out to the public? I would think WW would have the hang of this after all these years. That’s okay for me the sauce has no flavor because I LOVE my Cabot Cheese.
Biz! I love your sass and positive attitude!!! I have been a follower for years and have instituted pizza Party Friday in my household. I am sure you’ve covered this in past blog posts, but do you have a veggie (or specific veggie) aversion? I feel like bulking up your meals with veggies instead of carbs can help with your weight loss journey.
