Over the weekend I posted a quick Instagram story about how I used Alouette Smoky Jalapeno cheese to make these cheezy breadsticks.  It’s not even really a recipe, but so many people said “Biz, did you post the recipe for the jalapeno bread sticks?!”  So here you go.

It all starts out with my skinny pizza dough.   Duh.    This last batch I added some Dak’s Italian Blast.  I liked it!

I divided the dough into 1 ounce portions.

I rolled them out and used 1 tablespoon of Alouette smoky jalapeno cheese spread (this may be my new favorite!) and then twisted them.

I brushed with a bit of melted I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter, and baked at 375 for 14 minutes, flipping half way through.  Once out of the oven, I brushed with a tiny bit more ICBINB, a sprinkle of salt and dried parsley.  That’s it!

These were slightly crisp on the outside, chewy on the inside and oh so cheesy.  This is flavorful spicy, not knock your socks off spicy, although Mom, these would be too spicy for you. 😀  I’d make yours with the garlic and herb spread.

I started the day with overnight oats.  Love.  I don’t know why I gave overnight oats the stink eye for so long.  Like literally for years.  But they are delicious!  I recently found 30 calorie unsweetened vanilla almond milk (the Target brand) and used that – 1/2 cup oats to 1/2 cup oats (plus 2 tablespoons) of almond milk. I topped with a little bit of banana, blueberries, very berry sauce, and Safe + Fair chocolate granola.  Holy yum.

Jenn and I would have loved to walk outside, but at 32 degrees and windy, it felt like 22 – no thank you.  So we walked Macy’s.

They are having their annual flower show – this years theme is Cosmic Paradiso.  As soon as we walked in, we saw these silver people and I was like “fuck yeah we are getting out pictures with them!”

They had these pod chairs – so comfy, we both could have fallen asleep.  They were a tiny bit hard to get out of though!

It was so dark in there!

And we played Galaga!!  I had to send a picture to our brother.  He was known to play that game for hours on one quarter back in the day.

I had balls in my mouth for lunch.  Meatballs!  With more of the Holista low glycemic pasta.  It’s good – tastes like regular pasta, but I am not sure about the whole low glycemic thing because it still has 41 grams of carbs??

I signed up at Orange Theory.  I discovered I couldn’t log into the other location by me because I wasn’t “registered” in their computer.  One studio can’t sign you up in another.  So I will do that so my friend Tia and I can do a class together.  My class was at 8 p.m., and it’s about a 25 minute drive from my house.  I quickly made two beef and rice tacos.  My blood sugar was in the 130s when I got home, so I didn’t take any insulin with dinner.

I also ate about 1/2 a cup of grapes.  I wanted my blood sugar to be over 200 before I worked out because it will drop 100 points easy during a workout like that.

I didn’t realize until I got there that it was called a “bench mark” workout.  Meaning you were going to get a bench mark on the rower for this class.  You had to row for 2000 meters and I was thinking “that’s not too bad!”  Um, yes it is!  It took me nearly 11 minutes and my hamstrings were on fire. But you know what?  The class goes by really fast.  They tell you where to go, what to do and before you know it, it’s over.

I believe the green part is the “fat burning” minutes.  They want you to have at least 12 minutes in the orange/red zone – because they say that this is the zone that will help you continue to burn fat up to 24 hours after the workout.

I need your help!  My friends Nick and Jason started a business and are up for a $50,000 grant for their small business from Fed Ex.  You can follow this link and vote for them – I would appreciate it!  I worked with them at The Chopping Block 😀  You don’t have to swipe up – just click on the link above 😀

It’s Tuesday!!  I have plans to meet my friend Tia for lunch so I am going into work early.  I only get 60 minutes for lunch (I have to punch in and out) so I need to make up any extra time – totally worth it though!

I’ve pretracked what I am going to order to stay on plan.  My Diet Bet is already into week 2 – after the first week, my group has lost more than 750 pounds!   How cool is that?!

Make it a great day – and don’t eat like an asshole. Love, Biz
