I never really had a sweet tooth until a few years ago.  Like seriously I could pass by cakes, cupcakes, etc. I was a salty girl through and through – salt and vinegar chips, cheetos, doritos – you name it I loved it!

But then my love affair of gummies came about.  Damn you Albanese gummies!  Why do you have to be so good and so high in points?!  Is it weird that I want to do a tour of your factory?  I think its only a 90 minute drive from my house – road trip!

But over the weekend, I found myself wanting something sweet.  And I only had two points left.  Frick.  Baked apples – yes!  That was the beginning of something.  I only used 1 teaspoon between two apples (1 point  – but only 5 calories for 1/2 a teaspoon so I didn’t count that.  I am a WW rebel that way.

OMG – this Sweet and Salty Kettle Granola – can we talk about that for just a second?  My friend Courtney’s husband owns this company – Safe + Fair – the premise of the company is that you can have safe food at a fair price – take this granola for example – it’s free from eight:  no peanuts, no tree nuts, no milk, no eggs, no wheat, no soy, no shellfish or fish.

I worked as a babysitter for a little girl with food allergies – she was severely allergic to peanuts.  So much so that the Mom would check my purse when I came to babysit to make sure I didn’t have any peanuts or peanut buttery things with me.

It was the perfect sweet and salty combo on top of my baked apple and vanilla “pudding.”  Check out their website for all their amazing products – if they are anything like the quality of this granola, you will love it, especially if you have food allergies or know someone who does.  You can check it out here – and orders of $40 – use the code SHIPFREE for free shipping.

At only 2 WW freestyle points, this quick dessert makes such a healthy alternative. Plus, if you freeze the vanilla pudding it tastes like ice cream! I also topped it with some sweet and salty Safe + Fair granola which makes the perfect sweet and salty combo. #apples #apple #applerecipes #appledesserts #bakedapples #ww #weightwatchers

I feel so good that I have my meal plan in place this week.  Although, just because I write it down doesn’t mean I will exactly eat what I wrote down for each meal for each day – but I use it as a guideline – some days I don’t feel like what I had planned, so I switch days around – but I know that I have all the stuff to make what is on my meal plan which leaves little room for going off track.

Yesterday’s breakfast is what I call a “picky plate.”  Just an FYI, if you have a picky plate for lunch or dinner, it must have pickles on it. πŸ˜€  That’s for my friend Ashley. πŸ˜€

When we were cleaning out the fridge I had 3 points worth of chia pudding left, so there was chia pudding with granola and pom seeds, apples dipped in Better N Peanut Butter and two hard boiled eggs.

My sister and I met up for lunch to walk – it was fricken cold outside!  We went to an art supply store, then walked to our old WW workshop to check out the new WW scale – apparently is weighs in points as well as ounces and grams.  It was already closed by the time we got there, so we are going back today.  It’s $40, but I have a gift card burning a hole in my pocket, so it will basically be free for me – we’ll see!

Lunch was lasagna soup – without the cheesy goodness – I forgot the cheese at home.  Still tasty AF though!

And dinner was my artichoke and spinach stuffed chicken with pan sauce and salt and vinegar spinach.

The spinach is just a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar – bring that to a boil in a big skillet, add a couple big handfuls of spinach, turn off the heat and it will wilt in 1-2 minutes.  Simple lightly salt when you plate it – if you love vinegar like I do, you’ll love this.  It’s like eating healthy salt and vinegar potato chips – well, not really, but you get the idea!  7 points for this whole plate – and 5 of that is the prepared mashed potatoes. πŸ˜€

Here’s a prettier picture πŸ˜€

Eek – I didn’t realize I had so many notifications on the WW app – gotta check that out – so that’s how my day worked out – I also had just under 13k steps – nice!  I am mostly proud of the blue dots on the weekend πŸ˜€

I have this new weekly planning sheet – and I had over 50 people ask me where I got it – I said Office Max!

Nope – it was Office Depot – there is the sku number if anyone wants it.

Happy Tuesday my friends – make it a great day!
