It’s really ridiculous the amount of spam emails I get regarding this blog.  At least 20 emails a day – everything from Indian companies trying to get me to hire them for SEO so that my page ranks higher on google, to new artificial sweeteners to try for diabetics, the list goes on and on.  I had to laugh at this one though – apparently I made the Top 25 Diet Bloggers list from this guy – it’s funny because I read some of these blogs, and some of these women never had a weight problem to begin with, and well, it’s downright laughable because we all know even though I’ve been up and down – I’ve pretty much been around the 170 weight mark for years.  It was a pretty funny way to start my day yesterday!

Knowing it was going to be a long day, I started out with a big breakfast – this kept me full for hours!  Breakfast tacos on blue corn tortillas – this comes in at 10 smart points.

I packed my food for the day:  ham and spinach low carb wrap, sliced cucumbers, grapes, a serving of rice crackers, babybel cheese, and four bottles of water, which I drank every last drop.

So remember when I told you that it was going to be nice because the other kid was driving because his car is bigger?  Well, that didn’t happen.  He was having car trouble, and since he lives closer to the market (as I do by the way!) he met me there.  He’s a nice kid – just turned 21 a couple days ago.   So I had to pack up my stuff and load my car by myself.  Gah.  I just kept telling myself “consider it a workout and stop complaining!”  It was actually a bit chilly yesterday – the temps dropped to about 60 and it was breezy and under our tent we are shaded.  I need to remember to keep a coat in my car just in case.

It was a gorgeous day though – blue skies, didn’t run into a lot of traffic.  But a long day none the less.  I left my house at noon and got home at 9:30.  I ate my lunch around 3:00, and wasn’t totally starving, but needed something more.  Good old Tombstone pizza to the rescue.  I ate 1/5 of the pizza for 11 smart points, and since I still had the points left, a glass of wine.  Not a bad way to end the day.

Today is another long day.  I was mistaken I thought I was going to be in Logan Square, turns out it’s Lincoln Square, which is about a 20 mile drive from the shop.  But this runs from 4-8 p.m., so probably back to the shop by 9, then home by almost 10.  Luckily I have tomorrow off, so that’s not too bad.  I also got a bonus for my excellent sales for last week, so that was nice.

Happy almost Friyay!  Hope the rain holds off during the market – it looks like we may have a dry window from 4-8 – wish me luck!  Make it a great day!
