Hannah totally lucked out – the woman she had a fender bender with called today to let me know that the damage to her car only $49.52! Hannah had visions of how empty her bank account was going to look after depleting it to pay for the repair – happily $50 is only a tiny dent! (get the pun!)
Lunch was AMAZING if I do say so myself. Since I’ve discoverd pickled jalapenos, I love putting them in everything – and even considered putting them in my spicy oats this morning, but decided at the last minute not to.
- 2 white corn tortillas (love Mission brand – 110 calories for 2)
- 2 ounces chicken breast
- 1 ounce pepper jack cheese
- handful of spinach
- 1/2 small green pepper, sliced
- pickled jalapenos
- Taco Bell mild sauce (with splashes of Tabasco added before each bite!)
- 326 calories, 12 fat, 35 protein, 24 carbs and 4.8 fiber
I also heated up some of my Cincinnati chili, but ended up only having a few bites because this quesadilla was so filling!
Gotta scoot – I am spending the rest of my lunch hour at the Farmer’s Market – pretty sure CHEESE will be purchased! 😀
See you for dinner – BBQ Chicken Legs and Wings!
Chuckling about $49.52. What a blessing!
I have become addicted to pickled jalapenos…YUM
I’m so glad to hear Hannah won’t have a dent ( 😉 ) in her bank account!
I need to get my hand on some of those pickled jalapeños. That quesadilla looks amazing!
Have fun with the cheese 🙂
Wow that IS lucky! The last time I “dented” my car…I had to fork up $2000. A few months later, I got into another accident and we had to sell it…for $2000. >:-(
Hello! Thanks so much for your comment on my blog 🙂 I love that show!!! Although we don’t get it any more since we had showtime with a promotional deal.
Wonderful lunch if I do say so myself! Have fun at the farmer’s market, those are my fav. Too bad Vegas doesn’t really have any good ones

haha, I love Taco bell sauce 🙂 I like the FIRE hot one, yum.
Lucky Hannah! I’m so happy she doesn’t have to spend a ton of her hard earned cash!
And your lunch? Totally drooling over it!
That repair bill is amazing. Our place practically charges us that to walk in the door!!
Not only does that food look delicious, but the photography is really excellent!
Under 50 bucks! Great deal indeed! I have yet to have a pickled jalapeno, must try.
We should all be so lucky to get into car accidents with such sweet, nice people!!
I accidentally backed into a parked car last summer (I know, I know) and at first the guy was really nice, but then changed his tune and quoted over $2K worth of damage (door dent, mirror damage) so I said – no more being nice to you and just let him deal with my insurance company from that point. They later told me the repairs were more to the tune of $200. What a jerk!
Yay for Farmer’s Market cheese 😀
YAY for Hannah!!!
Whew! Quite a relief for Hannah, I’m sure. (Heck, the tiny scratch our son accidentally put on my parent’s car with his scooter cost $75!)
Your quesadilla looks fantastic!!!
So happy for Hannah!!
