Oh my, these are BY FAR the best biscuits I have ever made! Please see Robin Sue’s blog to get the recipe – she gets all the kudos for this one!
So as not to overwork the dough I just rolled it out making a square. I have a dough scraper to make an even square, then I cut 9 biscuits.
Hannah had hers with just butter:
Here’s Tony’s base:
Then with the leftover gravy from the Monkeyball Sandwiches, I added chopped cooked sausage for sausage gravy:
I ended up having an egg biscuit: 1 egg, 1 biscuit, 1 ounce muenster cheese:
I have a ton of cleaning to do, need to snow blow the driveway, run some errands and then head to my Mom’s house to finally have Christmas with her and my sisters family. Probably won’t post again until late tonight.
Hope everyone enjoys their Saturday!
I am such a southern girl. My biggest weakness is biscuits and gravy and yours look delish!
Biscuits are to die for. I have been craving a quality flaky scone or biscuit all weekend. Hot out of the oven and smeared with butter. Mmm.
Ooooh, how delish your biscuits look! I like the square idea!
hhaha Tony’s comments crack me up!
Have fun at Mom’s!!
YUM.

Those biscuits sure do look good. As does your scrambled egg sandwich on it!
