I was lucky that Tony didn’t finish all of his steak last night, so I decided to make an egg/steak/cheese wrap. I only used 1/2 ounce of cheese, but I sprinkled it over the whole wrap and nuked it for about 30 seconds, so every bite was cheezy! 😀
Breakfast comes in at 455 calories, 24 fat, 50 protein (!), 20 carbs and 14 grams of fiber, so net 6 carbs.
While this is on the high side on the calories, my lunch is Spaghetti Squash with Tofurkey Italian Sausage! Even never had tofurkey, so this should be interesting!
We watched Top Chef Masters last night – do you watch it? I just love how friendly and cordial all the chef’s are to each other – I thought some chefs may have huge egos, but that’s not the case so far.
Morning break is up – come on back for tufurkey!
I love using dinner left overs for breakfast the next day
We have Top Chef DVRed, hopefully will watch it tonight. I’m excited by it, too! I thought they would all be snobs to each other, and not take critism well – but they’re suprising me. They’re all so happy to work together and are having fun w/ the challenges. I think this episode is the one w/ John Besh, who we got to meet at my brother’s culinary school graduation – he was the speaker!
mmm..leftover steak is SO Great for breakfast 🙂 great idea!
Wow this looks so good, I’ve never put steak and eggs together but I imagine the combination of flavors is great!
