My friend and I did our 45 minute walk at lunch today – we were both dripping with sweat by the time we got back – felt good though!
Lunch today is a new wrap for me – I got it at Whole Foods last week – you know I like things spicy!
Added to my wrap – 1.5 ounces deli ham, .8 ounces cheddar cheese and baby spinach – I “Pam” fried this to crisp up the wrap which gives it a nice texture – of course, it didn’t hurt that I had Tabasco mustard for dipping!
And a big salad on the side with Annie’s dressing – turns out I didn’t have the proper vegetable/fruit requirements this past weekend! š
All together lunch comes in at 426 calories, 21 fat, 20 protein, 40 carbs and 7 fiber.
When I was putting my lunch together this morning, I reazlied that I have chicken leg quarters so they are being defrosted as we speak – with the temps in the 90’s this week, you can bet that all of our dinners are going to be done on the grill!
I also decided that I am going to put together my menu and grocery shopping list tonight and see if Hannah can do that for me tomorrow around her work schedule – its a good life lesson too! š
Afternoon break is over – see you tonight for Barbecued Chicken, Grilled Zucchini with fresh Parmesan and Corn on the Cob!
Looks like a great day!
I like the looks of that flat wrap! I’ve seen those tortillas around in WF…Must check it out next time!
45-minute walk at this time of year? You are BRAVE!!!
I just recently tried Annie’s Goddess.. yum! I bet it is great on your salad!
Oooh those wraps look fabulous. Must look for them next time!
I haven’t seen those wraps at WFs! I’ll have to look for them next time I’m there!!
While you have the Parm out…try elote – a Mexican corn treat. Spread low-fat mayo on an ear of (cooked, hot) corn on the cob, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and cayenne pepper, and squirt with lime juice. Sounds disgusting, but it is so good!
that spicy wrap sounds great – grilling this week sounds good, too. it’s supposed to be hot here!
