My oh my! Fried zucchini, fried onion rings, fried potato skins, fried shrimp and yes, we even did fried cheese! I didn’t know if it would work or not, so I only did four pieces of the cheese – I froze the cheese for about 45 minutes so it wouldn’t melt in the fryer.
While I cooked in batches, I kept a tray lined with paper towels in a 220 degree oven – everything stayed crisp until I was done:
To digest our food it was game time! Sadly the boys won everything!

So the fried food was just the appetizers – well, actually it was lunch. Right now we are lighting the grill for Grilled Lemon Pepper Pork Roast and Grilled Asparagus with a Balsamic Glaze – see you then!

SO AWESOME. And yes, fried foods are all calorie free, obviously 🙂 The potato skins look great, I would have eaten all of them..hehe. I love love love playing games like Pictionary and Cramium. Balderdash and Scattergories (spelling?) are two other great games. HAve a good night!
