When trying to figure out what to get at the store for dinner last night, Tony and I decided to grab a beer at Buffalo Wild Wings and get take out to bring home.
I ended up getting the naked tenders with my new favorite sauce – SPICY GARLIC! OMG, this one is amazing – the perfect balance of heat and flavor.
Tony and I had to do a Sam’s Club run this morning and pick up a new VHS/dvd combo – so cheap now! We are going to be getting software at Office Depot for $50.00, with a $50.00 Visa Card rebate so its basically free. It will transfer all of our VHS tapes to DVD – can’t wait to try that!
So breakfast was quick – you’ll never guess in a million years what I ate for breakfast??
It was so good! And a generous serving too – 1 1/2 cups!
And this is the roast we are making later today when my Mom comes over:
So its on the cool side today, which I don’t mind at all. On the menu:
Appetizers:
- cheese and cracker tray
- homemade bruchetta and homemade bread
Dinner
- pork loin done on the weber
- twice baked potato
- garden salad with Annie’s Goddess Dressing
- side dish my mom is bringing – all I know is that it has broccoli in it!
- homemade bread
Dessert
- sugar free strawberry shortcake
Okay, off to make some food! See you later tonight – Happy Memorial Day!
Hi Biz! Missed you all weekend. I’ll call you in the a.m. to catch up!
I’m glad you had a great weekend!
Hi there, thanks for your comment over on my blog! I saw your link on Ivonne’s site just now and thought I’d come by and say hi. I’ll be sure to subscribe so I can keep up!
Excellent menu! THis all looks wonderful!
Spicy garlic is my favorite too! But I also really like mango habanero 😉
I had Johnny move my old VHS workout tapes onto ONE DVD and I can just choose from the menu which one I want to do – so much easier!
Spicy garlic sauce?! I’m in love!! That menu sounds fantastic! Hope you guys had a great day 🙂
That’s a great deal on the Kashi bars! You are such a good mommy 🙂
Spicy garlic is my favorite!!!
If the VHS/DVD software works, would you mind transferring one of my ancient workout tapes to DVD for me? They aren’t making it anymore, and it never went to DVD…
Absolutely!
Thank you muchly! It was one of my favorite workout tapes in high school & college, and I was devastated when my VCR finally broke…by then, we’d switched to DVD, and couldn’t justify buying a VCR for just that one tape. 🙂
