It’s been a while since I’ve made homemade pizza! This is the first time that I’ve made the dough before work and left it on the counter all day. About 3:00 in the afternoon I called Tony and said “is the dough overflowing??” Nope! I think the saran wrap kept it under wraps!
![P5220060 this is a huge bowl too!](http://biz319.files.wordpress.com/2009/05/p5220060.jpg)
![P5220063 gorgeous!](http://biz319.files.wordpress.com/2009/05/p5220063.jpg)
I kept the ingredients simple: Tony: sausage, green olive and bacon. Me: Red Pepper, sausage and bacon.
![P5220065 I had all the red pepper, 1/4 of the sausage and 1 slice of bacon - and fresh basil!](http://biz319.files.wordpress.com/2009/05/p5220065.jpg)
![P5220066 Tony's pie](http://biz319.files.wordpress.com/2009/05/p5220066.jpg)
![P5220068 since I use raw Italian sausage, I always put it on top of the cheese so it cools all the way through](http://biz319.files.wordpress.com/2009/05/p5220068.jpg)
![P5220069 My pie!! Look at how pretty the red pepper is!](http://biz319.files.wordpress.com/2009/05/p5220069.jpg)
![P5220074 I like both cooked and raw basil - so half goes on (the darker) while the pie bakes, and then I sprinkle fresh on top after it comes out of the oven](http://biz319.files.wordpress.com/2009/05/p5220074.jpg)
Quick post, off to snuggle with Tony before my softball game – the temps dropped too! It’s probably 55 degrees – perfect softball weather if you ask me! See you tomorrow!
