I had the best grocery shop today!!  I am going to incorporate some of Jillian’s meal ideas for my breakfasts and lunches this week.  Each one is around 400-450 calories each.   I didn’t think I could convince Tony to eat Jillian dinners, so my dinners on this weeks menu are my own. 😀

But first when I got home from the store, I lit the gas grill and cooked up some good ole cheddar brats.  I like mine extra crispy, but forgot Tony doesn’t like them like that!   My plate: 1 brat, low fat hot dog bun, 1 ounce reduced fat kettle chips, carrot with a splash of Annie’s dressing:

After lunch I took Ed for a walk.  On Jillian’s online plan she has you “rest” two days.  I chose Sunday and Wednesday as my rest days.  Although that doesn’t mean I can’t do anything – so we went for a 30 minute walk on the trails by my house:

We saw lots of fallen trees!

Ed never walks on this bridge, but walks on either side - weird!

Still working on the laundry – it seems to never end!  Come on back tonight for Classic  Cheeseburgers with Grilled Potatoes!  I found a recipe for grilled potatoes where you slice them thick, and parboil them for 8 minutes, then finish them off straight on the grill brushed with olive oil and salt and pepper – sounds really good!
