I had a lot of homemade bread leftover, and a new cheese to try, so you know what that means! Apple Cheese Bread!
When I went grocery shopping on Friday, they had a table by the deli with different lunch meats and cheeses. Of course I was immediately drawn to the horseradish cheddar and it is AMAZING! It’s Boars Head brand and if you can find it I highly recommend it!
I was catching up on my blog reading before work today, and Mara talked about pea guacamole (which she’ll post the recipe later) but that got me thinking about asparagus guacamole because I have to use up some asparagus from last week.
I did a quick google search, and found this recipe. I plan on making this tonight to have as a dip for veggies for my lunches this week – each 1/4 serving is only 16.5 calories!
This is a new site for me, and it has nutritional information for some of the recipes which is nice! I book marked it to check it out later and see what other interesting recipes they might have.
I have a leftover lunch of Chicken Brunswick Stew which I had with 2 ounces of my cheese bread and smart balance. And don’t worry Hannah, this isn’t the chicken brunswick stew that Nana brought over for you yesterday, this was mine from the deep freeze!
Today is going by fast, I’ve been busy, which I love. My step-son Joe is coming over for dinner! Can’t wait to see him – its been over three weeks since we’ve seen him!
Lunch break is over . . .come on back for dinner: Broiled Sirloin Steak, Garlic Shrimp and Crispy Potato Skins!

that sounds like such a savory and sweet sammie!
That asparagus guac sounds really cool, I’ve got some asparagus in the fridge begging to be used and now I think I know what to do with it.
This sounds like a great sandwich.
