Dinner was good, but the meat was not up to par. I cooked it exactly as I’ve done in the past, and it was a bit too chewy – not as tender – and its rare! Maybe too rare?
So the Hannah’s high school musical did not disappoint. My mom and I swear that you could put any production in downtown Chicago and not know that these students are from a 15,000 population town 55 miles away from Chicago! The music, choreography, lighting, sound, costumes, the set – all amazing! Here is the musical they did tonight:
It was a long show, but we did have time for dessert when we got home!
Strawberries with Honey Ricotta Cheese and a Sweet Balsamic Reduction
I am making my mom my eggs in a bread roll for breakfast tomorrow, and she brought stuff for a fruit salad. Looking forward to a relaxing morning of reading the Sunday paper, good food and good company. Hope everyone had a great day and I’ll see you for breakfast!
I have seen balsamic used many times but I just can’t seem to wrap my head around using it on a sweet dessert. It looks great though. We have a Buffalo Wild Wings not too far from our house, we really liked all different versions of wings you can get.
Even if the roast wasn’t quite right, it still looks like an excellent dinner. Especially your garlic mashed. Yum 😀
Dinner looks great and I love going to shows, even if they’re high school shows!!
Roasted garlic – YUM!! That dessert looks like a perfect way to end the evening! Hope you enjoyed brunch this morning!!
That is a really nice looking meal!
wow that strawberry dessert looks so gourmet! awwwww way to go hannah!
Oh wow, mashed potatoes are good!!
I love garlic. You gave me a great idea!!! Mmmm…. of course I’d have to do it on a non-social day. (Garlic breath T_T)
The berry ricotta dish looks so good! I have to say, though, that the garlic and the final potato product have me drooling. Oh my goodness. I don’t think you can have too much garlic. These sound like my kind of taters!! 🙂
