My brother Charlie’s post yesterday on his blog had me at corned beef hash and Tabasco! So out to breakfast we went!
First off, you gotta love a restaurant that has this on every table.
Today I got the spinach and feta cheese egg white omelet with hash browns. Um, Tony and I may have split a small order of corned beef hash!
So I was reading the grocery store sale papers and the grocery store by the restaurant had both plum and whole tomatoes for .59 cents a pound! So today I am making my grilled salsa. Back when I started this blog I didn’t realize the difference between a page and a post, so I accidentally put my salsa making as a page . . . click on My Garden Overflows to see how this magic is created! Hannah and I love this salsa and have been out for months! It’s nearly 50 degrees today so today is the perfect day to fire up the grill!
The last thing I bought was mozzarella cheese for our pizzas last night, so I actually came in with .73 cents to spare!
Okay, off to light the grill – see you later with salsa pics!
Tabasco makes everything taste great. I especially love it on my hard boiled eggs.
Congrats on the challenge!! Hope you’re enjoying this mini-warm up the Midwest is finally having 🙂
can’t wait for your salsa pics!
Way to go on your grocery challenge 🙂 You’d think that I could do a $20 challenge like that since it’s only me, yet sadly, I don’t know if I could. I would definitely have to do a little planning.
GREAT breakfast!!!
What a great job on your challenge. I struggle with hash browns at home too, mine are usually crispy on the outside and almost raw on the inside.
yay
I’m looking forward to your salsa pics and I will definately check out your recipe.
Also I have passed a blog award on to you, as I do think your blog is “FABULOUS”
