If you had to use two words to describe me, it would be “low maintenance.” I’ve been low maintenance for as long as I can remember. In high school my twin sister would get up 2 hours before school, change her outfit 10 times, straighten her hair, change her mind and then curl her hair, all while I kept on sleeping away.
When I would hear her high school boyfriend outside to pick us up to drive to school is when I would start “getting ready.” And by getting ready I mean put on a bra, change my shirt, probably still wear the same sweats to school that I slept in, wash my face, grab my back pack and I was good to go!
That is why sister was on Pom Pom and I was on field hockey! 😀
It’s years of training that allows me to wake up 20 minutes before work and only be 5 minutes late! And today was that day. I must have turned the alarm off and then quickly fell back asleep!
So today I bring you 3 minute throw sh!t in a bag food day.
Breakfast: 1 small box Raisin Bran, 1/4 cup Kashi Go Lean Crunch, 1/2 cup skim milk and 1.5 ounces sesame bread with a teaspoon Smart Balance Light:
Breakfast comes in at 345 calories, 4 fat and 69 carbs.
SPOILER ALERT – BIGGEST LOSER!
Did you watch it last night? I thought it was very cool of Mandi to let her sister stay on the ranch. But what about Sionne and Fillipe! I am glad that Fillipe told Jillian off, but it will be interesting to see if they continue to train with Bob through the rest of the season!
Okay, morning break is over – come back for lunch for spaghetti squash with shrimp and sausage!
Oh, I remember those days. And you could still be out the door in 5 minutes.
I’m way more like that now than in high school, plus who has the time for that now?
Hahah, I don’t think I am that low maintenance, to some degree yes, but I guess it depends where I am going.. if I’m hitting the gym, I just get up and go, LOL
I’m really in low maintenance mode when I’m focus on work! 🙁 but this will change from tomorrow, since i’m going to visit my bf.
I am the same way! Sleep is way more important to me than looking perfect.I just told my hubby the other day when we were hurrying to leave somewhere that he should be happy who married a woman who can be ready to leave the house 5 minutes after gettting out of the shower.
That’s funny. I forgot to set the alarm and I was late getting started. Still made it to work on time, but it was one of those days that you forget if you washed your hair in the shower or not.
As for BL, I don’t get the yelling at the trainer. These people were sitting around stuffing whole pizzas into their pie hole just months ago and to get worked up that he didn’t get some attention. Give me a break.
I also think you go a clue of what may happen after the cameras are gone with the black teams “luxury” day. 15 thousand calories in a day. I guess that’s some living.
I love sleep way too much to wake up early – I’m with you!
In high school, a girl in my class lived directly across the street from the school and could actually hear the bells ring at her house! Our school had a 15 minute “warning bell” that would go off before homeroom and when she heard that, was when she started getting ready. Lucky duck!
I’m pretty low maintenance as well. I have to admit the last couple months at the restaurant I would shower after my run but not bother with my hair since I had to wash the fryer smell out of it when I got home anyway. Still going with the hair deal, my mom was commenting yesterday on how I should always straighten it, it makes my face look thinner, yada yada. And while yes I agree she’s right and I look better, its so much easier to just let it be curly and wacky..
Ok – I SO did not know you were a twin! Fun!! Haha I love the “throw sh!t in a bag”!
I’m all about the sleep too!

I too, have perfected the art of getting out the door in less than 20 min when I sleep in and aboslutely have to be somewhere. I just don’t normally do it, since I don’t have to be at work at a set time, and I would rather have a little time in the morning to leisurely get ready.
Reminds me of when I worked at the ice plant. Jesse would stop by my room and bang on the door. That’s the point I would get up, put on a hat, and we’d drive straight to work.
Ahhh… simplicity.
i have not been watching BL this season! I can’t believe I forget about it.
lunch sounds great 🙂
