Okay, this is going to be quick, I have exactly 7 minutes left on my lunch break! Originally I brought baby spinach and carrots to go along side my bean soup. Since the soup didn’t work out for me, I had to go to Plan B!
I used 2 ounces of the sesame bread from Panera (if you haven’t tried this – get it as fast as you can!), 1 ounce of sliced fuji apple and .75 ounce cheddar cheese to make a sammie:
Then I knew I had a ramen noodle packet in my “pantry” at work. I used half a block, cooked the carrot separately in the microwave while the noodles cooked in hot water. I then added a handful of baby spinach and some Italian seasoning from my pantry.
Okay, back to work. One question to Tony though: What should we have for dinner? I had Korean BBQ short ribs on the menu, only to realize that they didn’t have short ribs at the store I went to and I never picked any up – and they have to marinate. Any ideas?
Sliced apples with melted cheese sounds good!
Love apple cheese sandos! You are very resourceful!
Hey lady! Great job on the plan b. Bread apples and cheese is an amazing combo! I need to try that bread
I think your lunch looks great…it beats the 1/2 c. cottage cheese and 4 mini garlic dill pickles that I had today. I also love the bread from Panera , I have seen many a people do it but I have never eaten apples and cheese together. I think I will have to step out of my box and give it a try.
Pizza!
OMG ramen… I haven’t seen ramen in forever!
Oh and check your email, you have a present 😉
I’ve had apple and peanut butter, but never apple and cheese on a sandwich- I like that idea!

Gosh that sammie looks good! I’ll have to buy that bread next time I go to Panera.
That Sammie looks so good. I love bread. I don’t go to Panara much but I will have to try that kind next time I am there.
Last night I had buffalo chicken strips and honey mustard chicken strips that I made with some things that I had around the house. It would probabley go good with a baked potato and veggie. If you are interested you can check out the recipe on my site. It turned out really good and it was quick and easy. Hope this helps.
i’ve never tried cheese and apples together, but i hear that they’re good! how creative to put them on a sammie!
