One of my co-workers made chili and brought it in and its been warming up in the crock pot all morning! Thanks Cassie!!
She gave me the recipe, I’ll post it later if its okay with her. It’s got wax beans and carrots in it! Two ingredients that I never would have thought to throw in – and of course I had to accessorize it with Tabasco!
I worked out at lunch too! I was the only one there so I had my FoodTV going. Ina Garten made the most delicious filet sandwiches with a horseradish mustard sauce and fresh arugala – that may take a part in next weeks menu! Yes, I do plan on going grocery shopping this week! I like planning A LOT better!
So my workout was 40 minutes on the treadmill.
- 5 minute warm-up 3.5 mph
- 30 minutes speed intervals (each 3.5 minute jog was at 4.5 mph, then the next 60 seconds would be at 5.0 mph, and then each last 30 seconds of each 5 minute set I did faster each time until the last set was up to 7.0 mph!)
- 5 minute cool-dow at 2.0 mph
And since I wasn’t sure there would be any chili left before I got back from my workout, I picked up a Greek salad at my building cafe – with tax, this brings my $100 weekly grocery challenge up to $104.72.
So tonight again is Pizza Party Friday! I may do a different combo though – what’s your favorite pizza combo?
