We probably only got about 2 or 3 inches, not too bad for our first measurable snow fall! I love how pretty it first looks, but it quickly gets dirty and ugly looking. The worst part this morning was that when I was scraping the cars, the first layer was all ice and it took me about 15 minutes to scrape them off. And traffic was horrible – it took me 30 minutes to get to work when it usually only takes about 10 to 12.
The trees look pretty!
Breakfast was delish!
- 1/2 cup egg whites
- 1 ounce chopped spinach
- 1/2 ounce pepper jack cheese
- 1 ounce of french bread w/tsp. smart balance
- 6 ounces of Fage yogurt with 2 ounce diced apple and a tablespoon of trail mix
I remembered my workout clothes so a workout at lunch is in store! See you later!
Diced apples in yogurt? Great idea!
Thanks for sharing!
We live in the NW suburbs of Chicago . . .
wooooo…..where is that with all those snow????
Great breakfast! I love savory brekkie! ^_^
We got about 4-6 inches of snow. Also, a really weird lightning storm through the night. I guess with all the moisture in the air and on the lines, the power kept going in and out, too!! I agree, it does get really grey and ugly fast. I like the fresh, clean white. 🙂
The eggs with the spinach looks delicious – I’ll have to try that! I usually make omelets with a bunch of leftovers. Eggs are a great user-upper ingredient.
i looove that song “its beginning to look a lot like christmas!”
it sure is, i was surprised when i walked outside the door this morning to be greeted by all the white snow!
That snow looks amazing!! California doesn’t get much snow. Some parts it never snows. I’ve lived here all of my life and not once played in the snow. Sad isn’t it?
