We have a store called Tuesday Morning by us, not sure if that’s a regional or national chain, but its kind of like a TJMaxx without all the clothes and shoes!
This weekend was an additional 50% off of all clearance items! These are my finds:
A three pack of peelers – one is regular, one julienne’s and the third is for peeling soft things, like tomatoes.
Look at how pretty the julienned zucchini looks!
Then the best deal: Jalapeno Ketchup for $1.49 – can’t wait to try it!
And then something I’ve been thinking about getting for a while – individual cups you can bake in. Each 2 pack was only $2.49 so I got a total of 4.

I know John, it is hit or miss. I am hoping to land an enambeled cast iron stock pot some day!
Being a guy, people always look at me funny when I wander into the kitchen section at Tuesday Morning. Well, they look at me funny when I walk into the store. My 6′ 5″, 220 lb frame is an odd site in a store the seemingly caters to women. Luckily, my wife is with me 99% of the time, so to all the world it looks like I am being the dutiful husband.
I’ll freely admit it, I am a kitchen equipment junkie. Over the course of time I have purchased more stuff in that kitchen section than in any other store. Most of my Calphalon, Circulon, All-Clad, and enamaled cast iron cookware came from there. My Sabatier and Mondial knives all came from there. Most of my kitchen gadgets came from there.
You can’t just wander in and find what you are looking for in one visit; it takes multiple visits and some dedication, but you can save a bundle.
I still go in there on occasion, but I don’t buy much anymore because, according to my mom-in-law, I have more stuff than a kitchen supply warehouse.
I wonder when Tuesday Morning will start carrying the new Lexus LF-A Roadster?…hmmm. I’ll keep looking.
