This morning when I took Ed for a 30 minute walk. I wished I would have had a hat and some gloves, but it wasn’t too breezy and the sun was shining! Supposed to be a gorgeous weekend.
And Ed was so good. Every time I stopped to take a picture, he just sat down and rested!
Breakfast:
- 1/3 oats, hemp milk, water
- 1/4 cup cottage cheese
- 2.5 ounces diced strawberries
- 1 tablespoon sf syrup
And Hannah made fresh coffee this morning – thanks Hanners! I wasn’t sure I’d like the cottage cheese mixed in, but I like it! It will be interesting to see if the protein/carb combo sticks with me longer.
I kind of pulled a muscle in my run this morning, so I am just taking it easy at lunch – probably just walk outside for a while.

Wow, thats cold! It will NEVER get that cole here, even in the dead of winter. 🙂
A note on stretching. You don’t want to stretch right before a run without warming up. You want to warm up first, maybe jog for a couple of minutes and then have a really good stretch before hitting your run hard core. This way your muscles will be nice and warm and more willing to stretch, if you stretch on cold muscles your not getting the full effect of the stretch that you need. I hope that helps!
