We took the 30 minute trek to Whole Foods and finally found the wheat berries I’ve been wanting to try.  Still not sure how to cook them, but we’ll see!

My daughter and I spotted these ciabatta rolls, and I instantly knew that we would have bread bowl soup for lunch.  I cut off the top:

Scooped out as much of the inside bread as I could to get a 2.25 ounce bowl:

Then put 1 cup of the taco soup inside.  The juices from the soup quickly absorbed into the bread and it almost became a taco stew!  I shredded 1/2 ounce of pepper jack cheese with my good ol’ friend Tabasco on the side.
