How many Weight Watchers points is a baguette?
One of the things I love about this bread is how easy it is to track. You simply weigh the amount of bread you use and go from there. For example, two ounces of bread is 4 Weight Watchers points, which makes it really straightforward to fit into your day without guesswork. If you count calories or macros, each slice comes in at 150 calories, 0 fat, 30 carbs, 1 gram of fiber, and 5 grams of protein. It’s satisfying, flexible, and proof that homemade bread can absolutely have a place in a balanced, sustainable lifestyle.

I love making this bread each week for my daughter and her husband. It’s such a simple gesture, but it brings me so much joy knowing they’ll have something homemade and comforting to enjoy. There’s something really special about using a few basic ingredients to make food that nourishes the people you love. I’ve realized over the years that feeding people is truly my love language, and I hope that desire to cook for my friends and family never goes away.
New Here?

If you are new here, welcome to My Bizzy Kitchen! I started this blog 16 years ago to document my recipes and daily life, never imagining it would one day become my full-time career. After losing my husband 11 years ago, I navigated the hardest chapter of my life while still finding joy in cooking and sharing my journey.
In December 2020, I took a leap of faith and left my 30-year career as a legal secretary to pursue My Bizzy Kitchen full-time, a decision that changed my life.
Two years later, in October 2022, I was able to hire my daughter, Hannah, full-time, which brings me so much joy. Now, My Bizzy Kitchen is more than just recipes. It’s about embracing life, finding balance, and making healthy living sustainable and fun.
