Boy, am I lucky!  I was driving to the grocery store this afternoon and all of a sudden my windshield on our truck just completely smashed!   I don’t know if it was a golf ball, baseball, or just a branch (it was windy) but I had to call Tony because I was covered in tiny pieces of glass!  Luckily we only had to wait 30 minutes for a Sheriff – we live in an unincorporated area of our town, so the county sheriff handles stuff like this.

I am so lucky that it contained and I didn’t get a scratch on me – we had to listen to the Sox game on the radio for the first two innings!  Tony took the truck home after the sheriff did his report, and I took the car to go on to the grocery store.

I spent $111.43 for our South Beach menu this week – not bad!

Breakfast Ideas:

  • zucchini quiche
  • ham zucchini and low fat cheese muffins
  • low carb protein shakes
  • 0% greek yogurt

Lunch Ideas:

  • tofu stir fry
  • egg salad in lettuce wraps
  • chicken salad in lettuce wraps
  • spaghetti squash and turkey sausage
  • salads with balsamic dressing
  • cauliflower cheese soup
  • taco soup
  • the rest of my roasted red pepper and tomato soup

Dinner Ideas:

  • Chicken Capri with spagetti squash side
  • Balsamic garlic prk tenderloin with grilled asparagus with parmesan
  • zucchini noodle ground beef lasagna (baby spinach on my side!)
  • marinated flank steak with grilled cauliflower with cheese sauce

My mom is coming over next Friday so I haven’t planned that dinner yet.  I scored on the $1 rack today!!

In trying to use up some of our non-south beach friendly refrigerator goods, lunch was chili cheddar hot dogs with tater tots!
