So when I was putting my breakfast and lunch together this morning, I decided to shred some zucchini into my egg whites since I am using the last of my baby spinach for lunch today. It was so good! It was so light and airy it felt like a souffle!
- 1.3 ounce bagel
- 1/3 cup egg whites
- 1/2 small zucchini shredded
- .5 ounce cheddar cheese
- 1 medium orange
Spoiler Alert: Biggest Loser and Top Chef
If you haven’t seen this weeks episodes, look away!!
So I totally understand why they voted Dane off – he’s lost the most weight and probably will continue to do so. And I kind of like how they shook things up by trading trainers – Bob and Jillian’s approaches are so different, yet they still were able to lose weight.
And I felt so sorry for Carla on Top Chef – she had it in the bag but let Casey take over. Um, there was a reason she didn’t win the season she was in! Boiling steak? I can’t even get over what the texture of that would be! Tony and I both love steak with a crunchy sear – if we got served a sous-vide steak at a restaurant, I am pretty sure we would send it back!
Okay, morning break is over – I have spaghetti squash for lunch today = yum!
woah how do you get an egg to be so fluffy? it’s so adorable ;]
whoah, that sandwich looks amazing! that is a great way to incorporate some extra veggies, too.
it’s sad that dane went home, true, but you’re right–out of all of them, he’s definitely the one that can do it on his own. i’m so in love with both jillian and bob, too…
That is beautiful! It looks so impressive. Neat!
Wait, what? Is that microwaved? It looks so cute and fluffy and tasty. How did you do it?
Yep, its microwaved! I have a bowl that is the size of a bagel. I spray it with Pam, add the egg whites, I grated in the zucchini and finished it off with the cheese. Nuked for 2 minutes and then I put it in a container and put it together at work after I toast my bagel. Yum!
that looks really good!

Gorgeous! I am so lazy when it comes to making breakfast and lunch, you’re inspiring me!
thanks so much for checking out my blog!! love yours!! that breakfast looks soooo good. the green drinks are ehhhhh not my favorites so far, i must admit. i only drank about half of each 🙂
I didn’t know that Carla was eliminated (I didn’t watch last night) – but wow, from what I’ve read, Casey boiled the steaks? I’ve never heard of that!
Fabulous breakfast!
I totally think the Dane vote-off was a huge mistake. Now they have to deal with the dead weight of Ron (who has now officially gotten on my last nerve) who will NEVER win a challenge and never lose more than 5 lbs.
And Carla… what a heartbreak. I wanted to cry for her too. Damn Casey.
On other note, the souffle thingie looks wonderful!
great looking souffle 🙂 yeah i couldn’t believe carla let casey take over! always hated stefan’s attitude… but i’m not sure hosea should’ve won, either… lol
That looks so fluffy! What a great idea to throw zucchini in there!
really good idea to make zucchini souffle! so simple and yummy~
Love the souffle!! It looks so good 🙂
Hope you’re having a good Thursday!

souffle looks great! I know, I was bummed about Carla, too. I think she could have won! But I am glad Hosea did.
