Green Monster!

Green Monster!
Okay, I have to be honest, I’ve been seeing Green Monsters around food blogs for literally years.  The thought of drinking a spinach drink just turned me off.  But I’ve always kept the idea in the back of my head as if “some day” I’ll try one. As luck would have it, my store had bunches of spinach on sale for .50 cents a bunch. ...

Chobani Blueberry Muffins

Chobani Blueberry Muffins
What a great weekend we had!  The weather had a slight fall feel to it – fall is my favorite season of the year.  Not sure if its because that’s when school started and its like a clean slate, but my ideal temperature is between 50-60 degrees. 100 Miles and Read a Book

100 Miles and Read a Book

One thing lacking in my exercise routine?  Strength training.  I found this book through www.goodreads.com and ordered it off of Amazon. I have some likes and dislikes about this...

“All of Life is a Constant Education.”

“All of Life is a Constant Education.”
I was so glad to go to the parent orientation at Hannah’s school.  It also reminded me that I don’t miss the commute to get downtown!  I took the 6:58 a.m. train yesterday and it got me downtown by 8:05.  I am about 55 miles NW of the city, and I did that commute for about six months before finding a job in the suburbs....
