What a great afternoon Hannah and I had! First stop – Kobe East for our bento boxes. As soon as Hannah saw my pictures of lunch last Saturday when she was at work, she’s been dying to have it ever since!
Each box contains 1 tempura shrimp, 2 tempura vegetables, fried rice, 4 california rolls, edamamme and teryiaki chicken.
Next stop:
This place was huge!
While I was looking through a rack of shirts, I glanced up and from a distance, I saw it – a Coach backpack purse! It was locked so I asked to look at it – guess how much it was? $14.99!! Needless to say, I bought it – I plan on selling it on eBay – I figure I’ll start the bidding at $25 with no reserve and see what I get for it!
Next stop – the mall! We just parked at one and and it almost every store. I got a great deal on a pair of pants from J. Jill – originally $69 dollars marked down to $19! And they are a size 12 petite and fit perfectly.
Then on to my other favorite store in this mall: Williams & Sonoma!
Then on the way home we stopped for a sign that said garage sale, so we followed it. Um, I’ve never been to a garage sale at a house like this before!
And when we got home, I found this loot from Sophia for my BSI corn win!
This one was my favorite though:
My plan for dinner was to grind our own meat for burgers, but my local grocery store didn’t have the right cut of meat. However, they did have premade patties for only $2.97 – and a 20% off sale on all meat that could fit in a paper bag – so I went the easy route for dinner!
Each patty was 1/2 pound, so I ended up eating 1/2 of cheeseburger, with 1/2 cup cole slaw, 1/2 cup macaroni salad and a few chips – and mustard jalapeno for dipping my burger!
Alright, I need to start getting ready for work already and make some coffee. Thanks for a great day Hannah!
I’ll probably post breakfast and lunch together later on today – yeah that its Friday! See you then!
I could use a mommy & me day like that! Williams & Sonoma is one of my favorites, too, but I bet that house had some goodies for a better price!
yay! I’m glad the package got to you safely. 🙂
and aaah! I just had to scream out in delight when I saw that le crueset wall! that’s my kind of shopping, with all the bargains!
omg for a second I thought those rows of Le Creuset was at Goodwill and my head almost exploded! I guess they didn’t have Goodwill prices at W-S, huh?
what a cute day of bonding 🙂 i have been on a burger kick lately — yours look delish!!
Awesome find on the Coach bag! Looks like a great day – did you find anything at VS?
Yep, I forgot to mention I got two bras – and they were each $29.99 each! Score! 😀
Glad you guys had such a great time
I would go to a garage sale at a house that looked like that!
Your burgers look great!
Awww what a nice day with your daughter!! I actually did a post about my mom today!!
Coach is my favourite 🙂 Must get to the outlet mall this summer to get myself a birthday present!
Love the sushi lunch as well. Yum!
What a fancy looking garage sale!!
Great shopping recap, and those burgers look so good that I can smell them. Drool!!
I love going to Goodwill, but it always takes a long time to sort through everything. I’ve found some fun stuff at my Goodwill, but never a Coach bag!
Love the bento box too. What a fun post!
Oh my gosh! What a great day!! Nice steal on the Coach purse!!
I’m still ogling those books. I think one day I’ll lock myself in a bookstore and never leave. Also that house looks awesome!
What a fun day! I have NEVER seen a goodwill that big before!
