So if you go to a place that’s known for burgers, you don’t order a salad! I ended up getting the poblano burger with “chef’s vegetables.” I put the veggies in quotes because it was a bowl of canned corn, with a few green beans and ONIONS! Needless to say, I didn’t eat much of the veggies!
But first, I started out with this:
I wasn’t sure what to expect with the poblano sauce, but was so glad I did! It was a bright green SPICY sauce – so good! I ended up eating half of it – when I got home I weighed the other half and it came in at 6 ounces!

Can’t believe tomorrow is Friday already! Off to watch The Office – see you tomorrow!
Nice looking boy, but what is on his chin?
You should honestly start a comedy tour. You’d be rich!
Have you seen the new Lifetime show, “Cook Yourself Thin?” I’ve been DVR-ing it, and watched a couple of episodes last night. It’s less than scientific (i.e. figure out your ‘ideal weight,’ multiply by 10, and that should be your calorie intake for the day in order to reach said ideal weight), but has some good tips for cutting calories while keeping flavor.
I forgot to DVR it!!! Darnit. I’ll have to check that out – thanks Cassie!
Wow that burger looks great my mouth is watering just thinking about having one!
i’m glad you had a nice time!
Where was this?! I wanna go!!
It’s in Hoffman Estates – almost on the corner of Barrington Road and Route 72 (by I-90). Click on my lunch post from yesterday and it has the restaurant menu and info – seriously, the best burgers!
And if you like mushrooms, they have this sherry mushroom sauce that Tony absolutely loves – it makes his burger!
I hate when places cop out on things like veggies or “garden salad”. It’s not like a few fresh veggies are that expensive or hard to prepare!
Good to see you went with a burger. Looks mighty tasty 🙂
Oh wow, super delicious!
