On Monday my co-worker asked when I was going to do the Jillian 30 shred dvd again, and since I was out with Tony yesterday, I told her today.  I emailed her and she said she wasn’t feeling well and she’d do it with my for another time.

My first thought “cool, I can read blogs for a whole hour at lunch!”  But later on in the morning she said “I am feeling better so I’ll go with you!”  So glad she did – see how easy it is for me not to stick to a plan! 😀

She asked “since its only 20 minutes, what else do you do?”  My quick answer “nothing!”  It still amazes me how after only 20 minutes it feels like you’ve worked out for an hour!  We both agreed this is a great dvd, but to add some cardio at night, whether it be walking the dog or doing elliptical.

I also like that I can get down there and back to my desk in 35 minutes, so that still leaves me 25 minutes to eat, blog and read!  Good thing I type fast! 😀

So breakfast this morning was my old friend:

1 whole wheat english muffin, 3 ounces gala apples and 1 ounce of my hot pepper cheese - no Tabasco needed! Breakfast comes in at 284 calories, 10 fat and 37 carbs

So I kind of threw a bunch of stuff in a bag this morning and this is what I came up with:

It wasn't as spicy as I thought it was going to be, so I did add splashes to every bite!

1 cup Hormel chili, 1/2 ounce tortilla chips, 3 ounces cucumber, 3 ounces baby carrot, 2 ounces red pepper, 2 tablespoons roasted red pepper hummus = yum!

Lunch comes in at 445 calories, 14.4 fat, 59 carbs AND 13.6 fiber – nice!

So I have to watch Biggest Loser tonight and American Idol.   Even though its chili, I plan on walking the dog for at 20 minutes.

Come back tonight for Homemade Miso Soup, Stir-Fry and Grilled Tofu!
