I had to shop quick while Tony went to OfficeMax to get Turbo Tax. I think this is the first time that I have only bought 1 bag of groceries! Here are some of my picks:
Robin Sue over at Big Red Kitchen made Fried Squeaky Cheese that looks to die for! I might try to make a few of those!
So my Mom tried to make my Simple Crusty Bread, and it did not work out at all for her. I kept telling her “it’s a no fail recipe!” Not sure what went wrong, but I am making more today and will bring her some when we meet for lunch tomorrow. Sorry yours didn’t work out Mom! Do you want plain bread or cheezy bread??
Hannah and I are off to the gym – I haven’t worked out in almost 4 weeks! Wish me luck! See you later.
oh TJ’s how i miss thee!!!!
Nice Trader Joe’s groceries. I wish they were in Canada, they have such fun product!
Love the cheese curds. I think the best way to enjoy them though is in a nice poutine! Oh year baby, fries, gravy & cheese curds. Heaven.
oooh, fage with those blackberries would be so good! also, i didn’t realize that TJ sold cheese curds–yum! i was introduced to them a few years ago, and they’re such a treat when i can find them!
have a good workout. the first time back is never fun, but you’ll get into the swing of it again 🙂
I love trader joe’s too! Sunday trip to TJ is my favorite weekend activity! 😀
Hope you have a great workout!
What do you think of Fage?
Love Fage – just wish it wasn’t so expensive! The cheapest I find it is at Trader Joe’s for $1.89 – each!
Very low carb though and CREAMY!
A Trader Joes shopping trip is always a happy outing.
The staff is nice, the prices are low, the food is exciting and different. Love it way more than Whole Foods, which generally stresses me out.
My TJ’s favorites include the $1.99 peanut butters (what a deal!), all the organic reduced-sugar preserves (35 cal/tbs; currently I am enjoying apricot and blueberry). Also, did you know they carry their own brand of Greek style joghurt? I think it’s $2.99, but the nonfat 0% one tends fly off the dairy shelf – very popular, I can’t find it half the time.
I am so sad! There are no Trader Joe’s near me!
Cheese, please! My dough looked nothing like yours, it was dry and crumbly – not sticky. I even added more water, didn’t help the finished product – which I threw out. It was awful.
