So my last official weigh-in was February 9, and I was 162.5. Today I am up .5 to exactly 163. I am not too concerned, considering I haven’t been able to work out for three weeks due to my bronchitis! I am hoping to finally shake my cough this week!
Since we ate such a late lunch yesterday, we didn’t start getting hungry until around 8:30 last night. I decided to use the last quarter of my bread dough to make pizza and it was AMAZING! You could really taste the yeast of the dough AND it was so crispy! Even Hannah loved it and she normally likes a chewy crust!
So my plan for Pizza Party Fridays now is to make the dough on Thursday night, put it in the fridge overnight and have Hannah take it out of the fridge when she gets home from school.
So my breakfast this morning: 1.3 ounce Lender’s onion bagel, 1/4 cup egg beaters, handful of baby spinach, 1/2 ounce Mexican shredded cheese and 3 ounces sliced apple.
So I did not go grocery shopping this weekend, so my lunch is going to be very interesting. The last time I shopped they had imitation crab, buy one get one free, so today at lunch I am going to attempt mock crab cakes! See you then!
It sure is hard to keep on track when you are sick. Thankfully the bronchitis ends and the healthy eating goes on.
BTW, great looking food.
Even though you had a little set back I think you are doing a wonderful job..keep up the great work.
I spent the weekend eating and will regret it at weigh-in, but I can’t say I didn’t enjoy it!!
Congrats on the weigh in! That’s great that you have basically maintained your weight since you’ve been sick 🙂
That crust shot is delicious!!
Foodie McBody – I don’t officially weigh in at WW, just at home, once a week. But I initially lost my weight 8 years ago (from 210 to 135 pounds) in 1999. I kept between 135 and 140 for years, then went on insulin and felt every food group was insulin worthy – especially bacon cheese fries!
I do put the calories in so you could figure out the points though. I typically eat about 1500 calories a day, which is more than WW would give me!
Official Weigh-In? Are you doing Weight Watchers? I just re-joined yesterday. I wonder if your recipes have points as well…
Way to stay positive!
It seems like everyone had pizza last night (you, Kath, me, and I think others…).
Hope your bronchitis goes away soon – I’ve been struggling with something for about a WEEK now and I think it might be more than a cold. Yuck.
Happy Monday!
ooohhh…can’t wait for lunch, for the crab cakes! I’ll be taking notes so I can make them at home too!
Way to stay postive! Hope you feel better soon so you can resume your workouts, I missed 2 of them last week and it was driving me nuts!
A positive attitude is contagious! Keep moving forward! 🙂
Your food looks great. Why is it that everyone elses food looks better than mine :). I hope you are feeling better soon so you can start back with your workouts.
that pizza looks so cheesy and good. I need to try your bread recipe!
glad that you’re not stressed out by the weigh-in result. Keep positive! Great breakfast! 😀
