So this soup is a puree of the kale/bean soup, with the addition of half a can of sauerkraut (with juice) and 4 ounces chopped corned beef.
My friend and I discussed the flavor and both decided that the next time I make this, leave out the beans and add carrots and use more of a chicken broth base – and more sauerkraut too! Good thing is that I can’t taste the kale after I pureed this soup!
I also had a small side salad with cucumbers and light balsamic dressing.
So its Party Pizza Friday in my hizouse tonight. I am picking up regular flour so I don’t have the disaster I had last Friday night!
Tony, do you want me to pick up a steak for you??!! I have 15 minutes left of my lunch break and then back to work.
More snow is headed our way – by the Wisconsin border we may end up with 8 inches by tomorrow afternoon! Guess its not time to retire the snowblower just yet. See you tonight!
I’m so not looking forward to snow tonight! I do not want 7 more inches, I hope they’re wrong again!
But your soup looks really good and sounds good. J would be all over that!
I am SO over this snow 🙁
You are so creative with your leftovers!
Steak, huh?? Who would pass up the chance for a nummy pizza, not this bandolera! Make mine cheesy and sausagy. Hurray for pizza!!
Great looking soup!
Have fun making pizza tonight, have a great Friday!
