I can’t really remember the last time I even made a salad – too long! My salad consisted of, 2 ounces romaine, 2 ounces diced red cabbage, 2 ounces diced cucumber, 1 tablespoon red peppers, 1 teaspoon parmesan cheese and 2 tablespoons balsamic vinagrette dressing. Oh, and I heated up 4 ounces of sausage pizza to go with – I needed the extra dairy from the cheese!
So I am finally off to the store! My goal: 6 dinners for all of us, 5 lunches for me and Tony (Hannah buys lunch at school) and 5 breakfasts for me and Hannah. All this for under $100.00. Oh, and we may happen to drive by our favorite thrift store – we haven’t been there in 3 weeks! It’s usually a Saturday ritual for me and Hannah.
See you at dinner!
OOh good luck with that challenge! The fiance and I have gotten our weekly groceries down to about $50 a week when we don’t need things like pet food or paper products…
I always have to remind myself to make salads in the winter. When I did the salad challenge back in Nov (?) it was hard! I’m always eating them in the summer and I even have to force myself to eat other stuff, but in the winter I find myself eating more carby things. Have fun at the store 🙂
I love thrift stores so much! Sometimes I’m too lazy to put a salad together 😀 But it’s so worth it, looks delish!
Have a fun time at the store!
