Kat
The look on the woman’s face on the cover of the book is priceless! I’m definitely adding it to my to-read list.
Congratulations Kat! Please email me at bdl@gmail.com and let me know if you like tea or hot chocolate! OOPS! The right email is: bdl319@gmail.com! Sorry about that Kat!
I took Ed on a short 10 minute walk this morning. The temp said 22, but with the wind, I would say it felt like -5! Okay, I may be exaggerating, but it just what dedication I have to our dog!
Banana, pom seed, coconut granola oatmeal is what I put together this morning. It took me about 10 minutes to seed my pommegranate and separate from the pith. I have never had pom seeds before, and while sweet, it tastes like there are tiny seeds in the middle. Is that normal?
I have no idea why my picture is posted five times, but I only ate one bowl!
The plan is to do cardio today at lunch. See you then!
I kind of like the difference in texture between the sweet juicy outside and the crunchy little inside. Maybe I’m weird.
But yes, it’s normal. 🙂
Love the picture series. The Warhol comment is right on!
Personally, I like spanking half a pomegranate with the bottom of a spoon. The “seeds” just fall right out. It’s cathartic somehow.
Yes, totally normal. It’s a pain in the a** to pick them all out though. I bet they sell just the seeds but I haven’t seen them.
Yes, seeds in the middle of the pomegranite “berries” are normal. I think that’s why the juice is so popular. I haven’t eaten pomegranite in ages…probably because I remember what a pain it was to pick out the good stuff. Now they sell them “depithed” in some stores!
Congrats to Kat. Re: pomegranate seeds, I have no idea – I’ve never tried them. Love the multiple angles though 🙂
I think you’re right about the pom seeds – I like the taste of the flesh but not the bitter part of the seed (or the texture, really), which is why I rarely eat them, but it doesn’t bother a lot of people. I wish there were a way to buy only the fleshy part in a jar or something!
The way the multiple pictures posted, it kind of looks like an Andy Warhol breakfast.
That cereal looks delicious! I don’t know about the pomegranates, though…
From yesterday, I am currently sifting through the pile of magazines at my house. I definitely subscribe to far far too many and share with my mom and sister. But, I just. can’t. stop.
