Okay, so you know how I can eat the same things over and over again? Well, somehow I thought I could get it past Tony that calzones are not really pizza! He didn’t buy it!
They turned out really good though!
Kind of a leftover mix of ingredients! Mine was broccoli, pepperoni, leftover parmesan chicken from the night before, pickled jalapenos and a few slices of garlic sausage . Tony’s was leftover meatloaf, leftover chicken parmesan, marinated mushrooms and garlic sausage.

Out of the oven:
We each were only able to eat 3/4 of the calzones, and each one came in at about 700 calories. I don’t know exactly, as I had 700 calories to “spend” tonight. It’s all good!
Hopefully the weather will cooperate this weekend, although I heard that we may get a rain/slush/snow on Sunday! It’s too early, its not even Halloween yet!
Hope everyone had a good Friday, and thanks again to everyone who wished my mother-in-law Happy Birthday today!
See you at breakfast!
Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes. It was so much fun reading them.
And a special thanks to Biz for putting it out there!

that’s an amazing calzone!!!! I’ve never made it by myself. You’re such a great chef!
Wow, they look so delicious! YUM!
Wow, I haven’t had a calzone since I was a freshman in college! This brings back memories 🙂 I bet it would be fun to make my own.
Those look great. I need to make me some calzones soon
