To www.hangrypants.com for the picnic wrap recipe! So light! I ended up getting 10 tortillas out of this recipe:
- 2 cups whole wheat bread flour
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (which I forgot to add!)
In a medium-sized bowl, mix together the flour and oil. Gradually mix in the water (and salt!). Knead briefly. Divide the dough into 10 pieces (each one of mine was 1.3 ounces). The recipe said to allow them to rest for 30 minutes, but I went ahead and pan fried them in butter flavored pam.
I see a quesadilla in my future!
Only DELICIOUS!
Yay! Glad you liked them. I don’t think I added salt either.
If you let them rest, the balls will get bigger, so you could get 1 or two more out of the recipe! Aren’t they so easy?
So good! They were a bit time consuming since I only cooked 1 at time, but definitely WORTH IT!
those tortillas look amazing!! how were they? i want to try making them!! and your breakfast looks really good too. saturdays with no obligations are great aren’t they??
