I made three pizzas tonight (well, actually two since my daughter made her own after I made the dough).

This is how my food processor dough looks when using my regular recipe:

I love how soft and warm it is out of the food processor!

This is the end result for my DH pizza:

ham, sausage, black olives, bacon

DD pizza:

pepperoni, green pepper, red pepper, onion

I decided to try a whole wheat pizza for me.  I grabbed some whole wheat bread flour the last time I was at Whole Foods.

  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 package yeast
  • 1 cup warm water

Same process as the regular dough.  Put whole wheat flour in food processor.  Put warm water and yeast together for 5 minutes.  Put in food processor and add 2 tablespoons of regular flour and then add one teaspoon of olive oil.  Let it run 5 minutes and you are good to go.

The whole pizza dough recipe came in at 922 calories (15 ounces) so I decided to make my pizza dough base 5 ounces, which ended up being 307 calories, 3 fat, 62 carbs, 10.3 fiber (wow!) and 12 protein.

716 calories, 27 fat, 70 carbs, 10.3 fiber, 29 protein

  • 1 ounce mozarella cheese
  • 1 ounce Italian sausage
  • .8 ounce ham
  • .25 diced pepperoni

  • 1 ounce diced red pepper

It was so good!  The pizza was rolled out thin so it was really cracker crisp.

BEST CLEANING PRODUCTS EVER:

Complete side note – buy these products and you won’t need to use anything else.  I use them on the floor, in the bathroom, sinks, etc.  I used to only use the powder form, but recently found the liquid form too.  You’ll love them!
