This week’s BSI – PASTA! I am thrilled that Veronica of Veronica’s Cornicopia has offered the prize this week. Her sister owns a shop in Kansas and she makes handmade soaps. You can check out the pictures of her super cute store here. I know that homemade lemon grass soap will be in the prize basket. Thanks again Veronica for offering up the prize! And you can order her products on line here – not too late for some unique Easter gifts!
Again, just leave a link to your pasta recipe in the comments section, or send them to me at mybizzykitchen@gmail.com if you don’t have a blog. This doesn’t have to be a new recipe this week, feel free to use your archieves! You have until Sunday, April 1st to get your entries in. Good luck! š
We had such a nice time at twinfest yesterday. But I forgot my camera! I am still waiting for my sister to forward me some of the pictures, I’ll update the post when I get them. Um, let’s just say I counted points yesterday, as my breakfast and lunch were not Simply Filling friendly! I had a 2 ounce whole wheat bagel for breakfast, and then lunch was our traditional sausage pan pizza, and I had a small sliver of cake. Thanks for a great afternoon D&D and it was good to see you Jenn!
Here’s my pasta recipe for BSI

Hi! I’m a first time reader, and I’m having a fun morning reading your old posts! I’d like to try playing the BSI game, also. Here’s a recipe for a salty-sweet pasta salad with dates and feta.

Thanks for playing and welcome to my Bizzy Kitchen!
Those breakfasts look all so delicious. Once again I’m reminded how boring mine always are.
Great that you had such a beautiful twinfest. Look forward to the pictures.
Congrats to Sara!
The hash and the breakfast lunch and dinner waffle is SO on my radar. š That is definitely going on my dinner rotation. And then I am going to make the first recipe for dessert. heehee looks good.
I missed entering mine, š
But pasta? I can do pasta. š And the prize sounds divine.
What is up with the new placement of the smiley faces. Cool they show up, but I put both of those at the end of the sentences, not the beginning. heehee – it’s like a warning “The next sentence will be unhappy/happy – beware!” š heehee
I have no idea what’s up with the smiley faces, but love that you said “beware – the next sentence will be happy!!
Yummmmmmy breakfast recipes….I admit, my mouth is watering looking at Tami’s muffins…just like it did when I originally saw them on her blog.
My entry for BSI Pasta is:

oh…and congrats to Sara! ( acidentally hit the enter key before I was done! lol) Someday you and Jen need to come to Twinsburg ohio for the twinfest!
We used to watch the specials on t.v. when we were younger! Interestingly enough, our 8th grade graduation class of 90 kids had 4 sets of twins – our high school graduating class of about 1000 had 10 sets of twins!
Also, here’s my entry for BSI Pasta! š
I’ll have to email you Sara – no link to your pasta recipe. š
Sara – hope you don’t mind but I just took a pasta recipe off of your blog to enter – in case you were wondering! š
So much tasty breakfast food, yum!!! Thanks for picking me this week, Biz! š
All of the entries look fabulous! I will be trying that breakfast quinoa soon!
How fun! I want one of those muffins!!
What a lovely array of breakfast treats. Congrats to the winner.
Can’t wait to check out all the fabulous pasta recipes!!
That sweet potato hash looks fabulous!! š
The winner looks great! I am glad you had fun yesterday.
Biz, could you update this with my submission? I sent it to you by email earlier in the week. The one that couldn’t win-lol. Congrats to Sarah! Now I’m hungry for breakfast.
Sorry V!! I’ll update it. š
All of the sweet breakfasts look so good, especially the pancakes, haven’t made them in a while and it’s about time I did.
Thanks again for hosting. Congrats Sara! The pancakes look yummy, but I have to say, I am drawn to Tami’s muffins.
As far as pasta, I have a wheat allergy, so try not to have regular pasta too much. So to mix it up a little, here is a spaghetti squash recipe, since that is my favortie pasta alternative.

Spaghetti squash works! š
Here is my pasta recipe: http://fink-girl.livejournal.com/5038.html. Are you surprised to know that I don’t have a picture? š Here is a good Google image: http://www.companyscoming.com/images/freestuff/recipes/Greek-Rotini-Salad.jpg. My goal for the rest of the year is to take more pictures of what I make!
Ha – thanks Lisa for both the recipe and photo link! š
I’m submitting the “young adult’s” favorite pasta dish:

Those all looks so good!
It was great seeing you to yesterday, I think that officially wraps up our birthday week!!!
Congrats to Sara! Many good looking dishes to choose from š Glad you had a good day with your sister yesterday! I’ve never joined in the BSI before so if I am entering it wrong, just ignore me…lol! http://twodogsinthekitchen.wordpress.com/2012/03/05/tortellini-and-polish-sausage-soup/
That’s perfect – thanks Suzie. š
Let me think and I might have something for you!
